The March issue of the Newletter For Graduate Students
informs graduate students about the tools, tips, and
know-how to search the Web efficiently. Top search sites
are identified, recommended and information is presented
to guide graduate students to use the most powerful search
engines now available. This particular monthly issue also
offers actual examples of researching on the Internet and
demonstrates the types of documents that are essential to
formulate a research topic and the quality of documentation
that is required to defend a major research study.

The Newletter For Graduate Students is prepared for students
enrolled in both the masters and doctoral programs at
The Graduate School of America and is made available to
visitors on the World Wide Web as well. The site is maintained by
Dr. Robert S. Butters, a member of the graduate faculty and
research advisor with TGSA.

The online publication has featured articles on finding a
topic for a major research study, managing the dissertation
process, developing a proposal, and regularly cites sources
of scholarly research studies. The free monthly newsletter
also reports new sites of interest to candidates in advanced
degree study. Past issues are available upon request. The site
is positioned on the Web at the following location:
