I don't think the speed is a linear or worse function of the number of
operations in this case. A parallel architecture should be much faster.
That is just the scope of research I think.

The above story is very interesting. However I can only make some "fuzzy"
imaginations myself and join your associative idea about the new fuzzy 
hardware. Actually, the problems of spin glas and quantum computer are 
beyond my knowledge. I would be grateful if you could make some brief 
introduction into that matter.
