If our football fans have access to Internet newsgroups there will be
hundreds of bitter messages these days.

National Coach Weigang quit and boarded a plane to Malaysia on 30 March,
after a month of rumours that kept million of Vietnamese grapping every
piece of sport news. The long-lasting conflict between him and the VN
Football Federation ended. The winner was supposed to be the Federation
Officials who objected every Weigang's plan. But the Federation itself is
deep in a corruption scandal. The losers can be found in all corners of
Vietnam, from a school boy to an old lady. Million of fans know that
Weigang revived the Vietnamese football from scratches and ruins, brought
our boys to the Silver Medal at Chiang Mai. No one could imagine that fans
are crowding the stadiums today. It happened like a dream.

Another side is the National leaguage championship. The^? Co^ng's victory
was stolen by a referee who refused a clear goal. Then 5000 The^? Co^ng
fans attacked the referee with bottles. But no injury, thanks God. In many
matches referees were suspected to be bribed.
