Dear Huy
The Denver developmental test is now being used in many places in Vietnam.
I gave you the person-Dr. Hinh at Bach Mai to ask for a copy in Vietnamese
Developmental testing is done on a one-to one basis. It is not
suitable for whole classes.
Yes it would be costly both in money and manpower, that is why I asked
you if you
have resources to carry out such a study. Schools are not routinely
testing development in
students. They do not do it in the US either. The exams given to
students in VN schools are
tests of academic achievement not developmental. They also do not have
nationally standardized
tests except for college admission and that is no longer nationally
standardized-it is given by each University
