The real value of this book is also a nostalgia about old days.
In terms of literature, I don't think that is very good. However, I 
enjoyed it, at least I can learn how my parents and grand parents grew up.

My conclusion was a litle bit awkward admiration how the young Viets from
that era could become heros at Dien Bien Phu. O^ng Ta^y was so a fearful 
figure for Annamites, let alone thinking about fighting with them.
