My excuse
Hai,

I agree with you. The explanation for my reluctance in this matter is that
I feel quite responsible for my own words on a public forum like this, whose
members I all highly respect. I don't way to say anything that I myself
haven't had a chance to think it over thoroughly. Feelings change with time,
you know. If we happen to meet in an informal setting, I can certainly
share my thoughts with you, but here please let me keep my mouth shut up.
We may induce lots of meaningless and never-ending debates if we, the
participants, are not well-prepared and overwhelmed by misunderstandings,
or worse, prejudices. Probably I lean towards the Eastern philosophies
where passive thinking has much more importance.
About myself, I have been here for less than one and a half year, most
of the time of which were spent in class, library or computer lab.
I don't see much of America, except from the TV tube which I hate very
much (okay, you know my feeling about this American device :-)
About your theorem in AI, well, I'm always skeptical in searching a good
model for the way human beings work, be it mathematical, biological,
psychological or whatsoever model. But I know I'm always ignorant :(
Best,
-Thanh
