Urgent request
We have a small patient suffering from Acute myeloblastic
leukemia (type myelomonoblast M4). All the hospitals in
Vietnam are not able to cure this disease. Any hospital,
any clinic, anywhere in the world which can cure this
child from the disease are urgently requested to help.

* Date of admission:    May, 2nd 1997
* History: a month ago the patient was suffering from
high temperature, anemia and skin hemorrhage in two legs.
The patient was brought to the hospital.

* Clinical findings:
        Temperature: 39o5C
        Severe anemia.
        Some petechia and ecchymosis in the skin.
        Amygdalite.
        Lymphadenopathie.
        Spleno-hepatomegalie: 2 cm below costal.

* Hemograme:
        Hemoglobin                      : 50 g/l
        WBC                             : 43 x 109 /l
        Thrombocytes                    : 30.000 /mm3
        Myeloblaste                     : 62%
        Segment - Neutrophile   : 1%
        Segment - Eosinophile   : 3%
        Lymphocyte                      : 29%
        Monocyte                        : 3%

* Myelograme:
        Bone marrow cells count : 202.000 /mm3
        Bone marrow reticulocyte        : 1%
        Myeloblaste                     : 70%
        Segment - Neutrophile   : 4%
        Lymphocyte                      : 8%
        Monoblaste                      : 17%
        Erythroblast acidophile : 1%
        Cytochemic                      : Peroxydaza(+) : 28%(+),
42%(++), 20%(+++)

* Diagnosis:    Acute myeloblastic leukemia
                (type myelomonoblast M4)

* Current therapy:
        - Daunorubicine         50mg/m2 x Day 1,2,3
        - Cytarabin                     150mg/m2 x Day 1 --> 7 (10)
        - Blood transfusion
