You're quite correct, except there is one more variation:
PRODUCE (noun) which means vegetables (rau ca?i) and is
pronounced with the accent on the first syllable 'PRO'
instead of on the second syllable 'DUCE' (as is the case
with the verb form.)
On usage:
PRODUCTIVE can also be used for the intangible or immeasurable,
like: "a productive debate", in this case the end product may
be nothing more than a civil exchange of viewpoints. On the other
hand, PRODUCTIVITY is mostly used for things that can be measured.
PRODUCTION also has a specific meaning in the performing arts
and the film industry. A play, a musical, or a dance performance
often is referred to as a PRODUCTION, e.g. Theatrical Production, and
the people who put on the shows are called PRODUCTION COMPANIES
wherein the person responsible for putting everything together is
called the PRODUCER (you see this term in all movie credits.)
Now, how about: REPRODUCE, REPRODUCIBLE, REPRODUCTION, and
REPRODUCTIVITY???
:))
