Even though it has amusing elements most of the time, the movie seriously lacks depth in the time traveling aspect, at the same time obviously avoiding the problem through the narration and dramatic distractions (as many of movies that touch the subject do). I believe that time paradox is a tough nut to break and shouldn't be approached easily, especially if you're planning to keep up with somewhat intelligent public. Too much science ignorance for my taste. But, keeping up the fun if you turn off the "question mode". Generally, it's a nice and dynamic "teenage fun-movie" in that manner. But don't forget not to think too much about causality!
