A pleasant, genuinely interesting and creepy surprise. The majority of the film is the main characters trying to break into Area 51, which some viewers may find boring but I found riveting. It's a very interesting take on the found-footage subgenre that is becoming increasingly tired due to overuse, and better acted than most of its ilk. The last 25 minutes becomes much more action-oriented and downright sinister. Surprisingly likable characters and solid acting make for an overall rewarding genre entry. There's enough here for pseudoscience fans as well as genre fans looking for a thrilling little gem.
