Julie and Jason have been best friends for years with no romantic interest in each other. He sleeps with someone new every few days, and she's looking for Mr. Right. Now in their thirties, they notice that their friends seem to lose all their good qualities when they have children - child rearing and the spark of Eros don't seem to co-exist. So, they decide to have a child together, share in child rearing, but pursue their own romantic lives. Things go well until he meets Mary Jane and she meets Kurt. Both seem like perfect mates. We had really wanted to like this movie.. but unfortunlety it is just bad. Really painful! The script is very cheesy and does not work at all. Characters are empty and we did not connect to them at all. We kept expecting it to get better and it never did.
Acting is also bad. Weird thing is that these are some good actors. I think that can be blamed on the script and directing. There were too many really vulgar jokes that did not work. Bridesmaids did it well.. this movie did not.
So many bad jokes, and the movie just does not work. Even the editing is bad.
Please do not waste your time or money on this sad lame movie. Actually we got it for free and it was still a rip-off.
