Ellen Plainview, a sweet, caring, working wife and mother, answers the door one afternoon to learn that she is under arrest for attempted murder. She enters a legal nightmare as the evidence against her accumulates until it is overwhelming. Her friends and even her policeman husband begin to doubt her innocence, to the point where even she wonders if she somehow committed the violent horrible crime without remembering it.
This movie was extremely disappointing. Danica McKellar's performance was weak and annoying. Her voice was not strong, even before she was charged with a crime. Even in the supposed every day life she seemed weak and unsure. That made it difficult to watch from the start. She was poorly cast. Even had the character been played and someone unsure of themselves, the actor should have a stronger voice. There was no righteous indignation, something that would generally been seen in a suspect making McKellar, as the main character, poorly cast.
I would not recommend this movie under any condition. We couldn't watch it through to the end because of the poor unbelievable script and the poor acting. This is one of the worst movies we have seen in ages. The poorly written script, poorly cast characters, poor acting coupled with very weak performances along with unbelievable character behavior makes this the dud of the year. There are a lot of good movies out there. Don't waste your time with this.
