Storyline
Neil, Will and Simon receive an invite from Jay to join him in Australia whilst on his gap year, who promises them it's ''the sex capital of the world''. With their lives now rather dull compared to their hedonistic school days and legendary lads holiday, it's an offer they can't refuse. Once again, they put growing up temporarily on-hold, and embark on a backpacking holiday of a lifetime in an awful car, inspired by Peter Andre's 'Mysterious Girl'. Will soon finds himself battling with the lads to do something cultural, whilst they focus their attention on drinking, girls, and annoying fellow travelers. Written by

I have been anticipating this film since it's announcement, I was looking forward to seeing the gang back in action. And it's safe to say that if you enjoyed the TV show or the first film, you will enjoy this one as well.
The film takes the boy's to Australia, the "sex capital of the world" according to Jay, whilst there they get up to their usual antics, failing with woman, making complete fools out of themselves and being completely sexist.
I went into this film ready to laugh, and sadly, I did not laugh as much as I would have liked. Scenes seem to go on for too long and jokes fall flat, eventually resorting to pee and poo jokes. Some characters are just completely irritating, making me wish the film would hurry up and move on. They also ignore some of the previous films events like Neil's girlfriend, and when some events do get mentioned, they just breeze over them in one sentence. The film also has a paper thin plot that is so contrived, there might as well be a conductor orchestrating the film. It's not all bad however, the leads are all fantastic and they all get their own moment to shine, Will and Jay are particularity great here, both getting the best jokes in the film. The film doesn't over stay it's welcome, at only 100 minutes, the film never feels like it's just plodding along.
So, overall, you will not like this film if you hated the TV show or the other movie, it's incredibly misogynistic and crass, but if you liked the show and the first film, you should enjoy this outing. It's better than the first film but not as good as the TV show. It has it's moments but jokes fall flat and scenes go on for too long and become awkward. I still recommend it if you are a fan of the gang.
