I don't know what people are talking about!!!! Maybe they did not get all the one liners(great ones, mind you!) It's one of the simplest comedy movies in a long time.. No hidden messages, nothing cryptic, just a great entertainer.. with great script, awesome story.. and the performance by Kal Penn! I consider this one of the best stress busters of all time and watch it when things in real world get too serious just to get the feeling that there is a lighter side of life; however improbable, still can bring that one expression that brings a curved lip line on your face. Watch it with your friends guys!.. not with a movie critic and you might get a hint as to what i am talking about. And believe you me, i am not the only one who agrees to such.
Bottom line: Do not judge this movie based on the finesse of an artist. You would miss the inbred fun and frolic.
Just realize that there are still things to be enjoyed without doing a critical acclamation and you should be fine!
