Trivia
Brendan Fraser has a cameo as Link, his character from
Encino Man (1992), which also starred
Pauly Shore. Crawl (Shore) sees Link at a party dressed as he appeared in the last scene of the movie, and says "cool costume". Link eats a plastic frog and walks away as Crawl mouths the words "was that...?", implying that Link and Crawl had met before.

Goofs
When Crawl and Rebecca first meet, he videotapes her from the door to her dorm room. In the following shot, we see a black-and-white shot from the point of view of his camera. Not only does it come from a significantly different location in the room, but also, Rebecca is looking well offscreen when she should be looking directly into the camera.

One of our all time family favorites. When we need a laugh...we just put this one in and laugh all way thru like it is the first time we've seen it. This film has good, clean family humor. Pauly Shore is brilliant! With no plans for the thanksgiving holiday, Crawl (Shore) is invited to spend the holiday with a conservative coed, Becca. Crawl, being a big city boy, must adjust to the farm life if he is to fall in love with Becca. But, Crawl isn't the only one who is learning new things. Crawl teaches Becca and her parents how to be more open about their feelings and accepting others. This is fun for viewers of all ages.
