Our hero, Cooper, awakes to find himself nauseous, weak and covered in webbing, hanging from the ceiling of an office where, just minutes ago, he started his new job. As he struggles out of his slimy prison he comes face to face with his opponent - a grotesque, powerful and very angry bug. All 3 ft of it. And so begins a hideous, nail-biting, comedic, all-action adventure to find a safe haven while constantly outwitting an infestation of monstrous proportions. As Cooper embarks on his journey, he befriends a ragtag group of survivors including Sara, a feisty attractive female. Although the situation is dire, Cooper can't help himself from trying to solve his dating problem while trying to save his life. Will they make it to safety before they are picked off one by one? And what other surprises are in store for our group of unlikely heroes? Written by

I caught this on an upload someone posted from ripping it off the Syfy channel. If you like sci fi movies with a good blend of story, charming characters, comedy and special effects all complimented with an attitude that doesn't take itself too seriously or market itself as something it's not, you should really enjoy this one. The concept is silly but the cast and director really make it work.
Some of the scenes impressed me with how much effort was made into the shoot locations and the architecture chosen. Chris Marquette does a great job of keeping each scene funny as does Ray Wise once his character is introduced. The special effects are pretty good, the concepts are good and the character interaction is screwy yet entertaining.
It has the cult film feel with a high re-watch value. They give us an offbeat ending leaving hope for a sequel which would be cool since the film is satisfying yet lacking and you're left wanting more. If you grimace at mainstream films and tend to seek those kept off the map, this movie is worth your time and attention. You'll probably love it and watch it a dozen times or of course, the opposite.
