Janna, the responsible twin, and Callie, the wild twin, get into a car wreck. Callie walks away from the crash but Janna falls into a coma. Callie suddenly starts to live as Janna in order to evade the police for a drug charge. Janna's daughter, Fiona suspects her mother is the coma victim and not Aunt Callie. Written by Anonymous
While some might compare this extraordinary film with the great Bette Davis movies, "A Stolen Life" and "Dead Ringer", this is a unique effort that stands on its own creative merits. With an absolutely stunning performance of a lifetime, Charisma Carpenter excels in a complex dual role as twin sisters with little affection for one another. Her portrayal is beautifully essayed and the subtle differences in the characters are expertly realized. It is her work in this film that makes this simply one of the best Twin Sister genre films ever produced. Artistically directed, excellently scripted, and outstandingly produced, Deadly Sibling Rivalry is a suspenseful, sometimes terrifying, and complex study of tremendous power.
