First of all... to be clear I gave this movie a seven (7/10) in protest of all the terrible reviews it received here on IMDb. I watched this with my wife and kids on a Sunday morning and maybe I am just in a great mood or maybe we had some Sunday morning magic going, but we quite enjoyed this movie together. My kids are 3 and 1 year(s) old. This was not a 'laugh-out-loud' funny movie and truthfully the plot was only so-so. But come on people! This is not intended to be Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy! This is a kid's movie. Perhaps it was geared toward younger kids than the reviews reflect here on IMDb and this threw people off ? I have no idea why the reviews are so HORRID. I really thought the main actor (Henry) was VERY VERY good for his age. Anjelica Huston was excellent and wonderful to watch as always. Ms. Nagra is also (perpetually it seems) 'lovely' and perfectly cast herein.
I would normally rate this about movie a 5-6/10 keeping in mind it's intended audience. However 3/10 on IMDb ? Surely you jest. This is a crime. Hopefully my seven brings this up a bit! :) This is a VERY likable movie - at least our family enjoyed it and we hope the bad reviews here don't steer you away from some decent/clean entertainment for little ones. Best, The KING FAMILY.
