Storyline

Opposites attract when Wendy (Lisa Whelchel), a wedding coordinator, and Marco (Antonio Cupo), a divorce attorney, find their lives suddenly intertwined. Wendy is finally settling into the single life after struggling with the death of her husband. After a difficult season of grief, she's taken over the family business of coordinating the town's most beautiful and memorable weddings with the help of her friend and co-worker Roseanne (Kim Fields). Wendy's business and values are challenged, however, when the charming and incredibly irritating Marco opens shop as a divorce attorney right next to her wedding chapel. Although Wendy will stop at nothing to promote her marriage business over Marco's divorce business, she must form an alliance with Marco after her son Collin (Edward Ruttle) announces his unexpected engagement to Marco's daughter Sophia (Alicia Josipovic). Goofs

When Wendy moves the car, a crash is heard and she stops the car. When the exterior shot is shown the scratches on the red car are white, and the car that was scraped was black. The paint transfer on the red car should have been black. Additionally, Marco tells her not to move it yet when the damage is shown the cars are shown being some distance apart instead of wedged against each other. See more »

Miscast leads ruined the movie

Okay, pairing a 51yr old woman with a 37yr old man who looks 30 was not a good idea when they could have easily properly cast this male lead. It was just ridiculous, not to mention that both of their kids were supposed to be 22 which means he would have been 15 when he had his daughter. By this reasoning she could practically have been his mother in the movie instead of his romantic interest.

I have enjoyed other movies with a younger guy and older woman but it did not work at all in this movie.

Aside from that it was a typical Hallmark romance, cheesy but enjoyable in parts. I'm not that picky when it comes to these types of romances but these leads just annoyed me through the whole movie, they way overdid the animosity in the beginning, there was no chemistry between them at all and that, combined with the age difference, really reduced the believability factor for me.
