"Los Lobos de Arga" was presented at the Sitges festival and awarded after the public of "The Fantasy and Horror Film of Festival San Sebastian", the film focuses on telling humorous legend about Wolfmen, having its origin in the small Galician town of Arga. The curse begins promiscuity of a marquise, narrating it in the opening credits, through a succession of highly explicit animated sequences.
We are in an action comedy with touches of terror as tenuous as safe, where he focuses on showing the incredible comic potential of his protagonist trio, as well as the secondary, some luxury as Manuel Manquiña ('Airbag') self-proclaimed mayor and local priest, no one sees fit to oppose this free appointment.
The film goes from strength to strength, with moment of pure joy and laughter superbly Otxoa acting both as an actor Areces Madrid, where he surprises us with a very well managed Galician accent and some pretty twisted tastes.
The film is made with great care and love, in the words of the director, and it shows; especially in regard to the characterization of the werewolves, the things done perfectly well for a Spanish film of high budget and must receive at least award nomination for best special effects and makeup.
In summary, we enjoyed a lot of action scenes, with high doses of humor, having solvent and fun performances. It's highly recommended for a good time.
It has a lot of jokes and gags that work, along with a well-crafted action scenes; having a script solid enough to enjoy the film.
