Gonzo is contacted by his alien family through his breakfast cereal. He is kidnapped and it's up to Kermit and the gang to rescue Gonzo and help reunite him with his long-lost family.
Kermit, Gonzo and Fozzie are reporters who travel to Britain to interview a rich victim of jewel thieves and help her along with her secretary, Miss Piggy.
A Muppet fanatic with some help from his two human compatriots must regroup the Muppet gang to stop an avaricious oil mogul from taking down one of their precious life-longing treasures.
At 12 years old, Kermit the Frog and best friends Goggles and Croaker travel outside their homes in the swamps of the Deep South to do something extraordinary with their lives.
After Gonzo receives messages from his breakfast cereal, he determines that he is an alien and tries to contact his alien brethren, but is captured by an overzealous secret government agency determined to prove the existence of extraterrestrial life. It's up to Kermit and the gang to rescue Gonzo and help reunite him with his long-lost family. Written by

Baab the Sheep was performed by eleven year old Kristina Donnelly, who was given the opportunity through the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Kristina wanted to be an actress in a Muppet film, but when given a choice between that and voicing a puppet of her own (the suggestion made to her by Steve Whitmire and Dave Goelz), she chose the puppet. Near the end of her time filming Steve and Dave presented her with a special edition of the Hensonville News Observer and a bag full of The Muppets merchandise. The puppet she voiced, Baab, was also given to her. See more »

Quotes
Ubergonzo:
Gonzo, by surviving and thriving on this alien planet, you have proven yourself audacious, courageous, and distinctly one-of-a-kind. We welcome you back with our most ceremonious of ceremonies.
Gonzo:
What's that?
Ubergonzo:
We gonna blow you up, baby.

Gonzo is tired of being a "whatever." But when his breakfast cereal tells him to "WATCH THE SKY," then asks him "R U THERE," his Muppet friends start to worry about his mental state. Meanwhile, the message also catches the eye of Ed, the head of a government intelligence agency looking for aliens. Cute movie has an excellent beginning song (they all live in a house now?) and goes nowhere but down in boredom. Cute parodies of CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND and INDEPENDENCE DAY can't avoid the annoying 70s sound track that IS NOT SUNG BY THE MUPPETS!! Two thumbs up for Animal and Pepe, two thumbs down for not making a more creative movie.
