Who is this?

This is the question so often asked while looking at someone's vaction pictures, so I thought I'd answer it for you. Below are all the play'ays from the trip. So, if you see someone in a picture, and they aren't here, then I have no idea who that person is (probably some euro-trash, butting into my pictures).

Tom Weiss - I'm Tom Weiss. This is my web page, and I'm happy to admit that this vacation was my idea. My main motivation for the trip was to see the smiling face two pictures down. I made this scrap book so I wouldn't have to explain all my pictures 5000 times. As for other background type info, I make my home in Chicago, and engineer software for a large telecommunications company.

Eliot Bares - Hi. I'm Eliot. I just wanted to bond with my buddy Tom in the land of oversized beers and overabundant sausage. It turned out to be even better than that. I was guided by two of Germany's most beautiful women through mountains and mines, castles and bridges. I drank the wine and ate the food, talked the talk and visted the brothels. (I guess strip clubs in Germany are really brothels! Who knew?) I saw things I'll never forget and I will appreciate that for life.

Jana - I am Jana. I met Katharina, Eliot and Tom in 2000, while I lived in Chicago for one year. During my stay, Tom had that great idea to make an Europa-Trip. My encouragement to join the tour was first of all to meet one of the most wonderful man (Tom) again and to see as much as I could of all the places we went to. The unique experiences we had were more than I ever expected.

Katharina Boensch - Hi, my name is Katharina and in some strange ways I'm connected to most of the people in this scrap book, I'll think it's called friendship. Even, if the vacation was Tom's idea I was the one who invited him to come along with me because I'm German and once in a while I'm a "nice" girl to go back home to see my parents and friends. In real life I'm still a student who is trying to get her accounting degree and sit for the CPA.

Katrin - (Katrin never got back to me, so I filled this in) Katrin is a friend of Katharina. Like Katharina, she is from Germany, however one interesting note is that she learned to speak English in England, and so when I listen to her speak, I hear a British accent instead of a German one.

Stephan - (Stephan never got back to me, so I filled this in) Stephan is another friend of Katharina. I would describe him as a wealthy pretty-boy. I first met him when he was visiting Katharina in Chicago; and I'm proud to say that I introduced him to the burrito at Flash Taco in Bucktown one night.

Gianni - (Gianni never got back to me, so I filled this in) Again, Gianni (pronounced G-on-ee) is a friend of Katharina. This guy can put down the brew, and hes got some impressive side burns, which should be the envy of any European.
