    1500+ pages of solid knowledge

This book is so much better than the Microsoft Press book (Access 2002 inside and out) that this review hardly does it justice. That fact is, this book covers so much more. The only thing is that it covers so much, that you might be intimidated. Never-the-less, if you have this as your primary reference for Access 2002, you can't go wrong. This book can be used by beginners, but you should should be computer savvy first. If not, look somewhere else, like Access 2002 for Dummies. This book if for someone who wants to create databases, not learn the basics.
