A *MUST* have if you develop an Access 2000 DB

This book teaches you EVERYTHING you need to know and treats Access as it should be treated, as a development tool. It works great as a reference tool and as a learning utility. I have the 95/97 and 2000 copy of this book and reference them all the time. If you are serious about wanting to develop in Access, this book is a MUST have.

    Great Developers Reference

If you develop Access applications for a living, then I highly recommend this book to be part of your library. Not only is it well written, but it detailed and comprehensive. This is one of those books that I keep open and refer to constantly. I liked the chapter Optimizing Your Application, because the recommendations helped me to avoid many pitfalls and build better and faster applications. Recently I needed to build custom command bars and menus and the codes samples and explanations were right on. Additionally, the book covers Client/Server implementations, ADO, SQL Server, ADP, it's very thorough, too much to mention here. Also, Lots of good, advanced VB Programming samples, advice, and best practices here. I am very happy I selected this book.
