Overview

The Database of Antiblocking, Release, and Slip Additivescontains the data required in the application of over 1000critical additives. The additives are divided into two categories: generic chemical name compounds and commercial additives, which are either mixtures of several components, industrial grades of a particular compound, polymeric materials, or products having unknown, complex composition. The large number of records and available data fields make this the most comprehensive database on the subject ever available.

The database is divided into five sections: General Information; Physical Properties; Health & Safety; Ecological Properties; and Use & Performance. There are 145 data fields that accommodate a variety of data available in source publications. The description of general sections in the Table of Contents gives more detail on the composition of the information. The displayed information contains additive name and its chemical structure (if generic compound). The data can be viewed on screen and printed in a predefined format.

System Requirements: Pentium or later generation processor. Windows NT or later generation Windows operating system. Screen resolution of 800x600 or greater.

  • Updated to bring the database in line with the latest developments in the field
  • Divided into sections for ease of use
