Excel 2002 Power Programming with VBA

This book contains a lot of detail on a lot of examples, but try to find something you need! The order of events is 'stream of conciousness', that is, every topic is in the order that it happened to occur to the author - regardless of its relevance to the topic at hand. Read some other titles to see what organization means.

Excel 2002 Power Programming with VBA

This book has some interesting stuff in it, but absolutely no organization. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. If you have the same 'stream of conciousness' as John. you might figure out why no topic is treated in one place, but rather, every topic is a bit here a bit there - just when John happened to think of it. There are better and newer books to look at.

    Great book for intermediate programmer

I bought this book so I can learn more about programming excel through VB Apps. It covers just about everything you need to know. It goes into many advanced features. As an intermediate programmer I find this book very useful and full of examples. If you want to know more about the excel syntax...this is a book for you!
