I found the book to be an excellent way to get a feel for the different functions of Access 97. But, although it it geared toward beginners/intermediats, it is not a book designed to teach you about database design and implimentation. It is ONLY designed to allow a person to get aquainted with the Access 97 interface. Only one small bump in the book was in one of the examples in chapter 9. The Access 97 help wizard managed to steer me in the right direction. If somebody is looking to become aquainted with Access 97, then get the book. If your looking to learn database design, go someplace else. The bottom line: Use it in conjuntion with 'Running Access 97', or other similar books.
