    I was new to Oracle and SQL. This book was a big help in getting me to the point where I could create useful queries for the projects that I am involved with. I keep it at my desk as a reference and refer to it frequently. This and "Sam's Teach Yourself SQL in Ten Minutes" are both good books for the SQL beginner

    Excellent purchase
