    Data Warehouse: Dimensional Modeling

This is an excellent and wonderful book and it contains the details at data warehouse architect level. I use it extensively as a reference and also recommend to my juniors who like to learn data warehousing and techniques. The first three chapters are covers at very basic level. The remaining chapters cover more in depth, which covers details of dimensional modelling.

This book covers dimensional modelling for different industries under different discipline. So readers may find difficult to understand if they are not familiar with that industry. This is a good eye opener for those who want to know the dimensional modelling for the specific industry. Also, doing a project for a particular industry will help immensely in understanding the more detailed aspects of some chapters and hence fully understand the concepts.
