For DBAs that doesn't have a lot of Unix experience, this little book included all tips and commands for Oracle file system housekeeping, data file & archive log file adminstration, process monitoring, etc. The author is very experienced with Oracle & Unix technolohy, as well as an awsome writer, complexed situations were explaiined in simply readable language. It's highly recommanded for people wants to get started with Oracle running on Unix Platform.

This text was woth it to me because of all of the time that I saved writing server-side scripts that interface with Oracle. There are also really great code snippets that I used right away. Overall, a great little book.
