This book was used as the text for my college introductory information sciences class to expose us to the complex world of business and computer/information integration. It is a great introductionary book for beginner info. sci. students or if you just want a good read to learn about ERP systems. It was really fun to read because it was not written in a highly technical manner. In reality the book uses humor and down to earth explanations to convey concepts to the reader making for a clearer understanding. A GREAT read!

F. Robert Jacobs is currently department chairman at Indiana University. He has a Ph.D from Ohio State and is past Vice President of the Decision Sciences Institute, Information Technology Coordinator for Decision Sciences Institute for 1997, as well as Associate Editor on the board of the Journal of Operations Management.
