schools. Any school that offers a degree in statistics or has departments with emphasis in
statistics but does not appear on this list is invited to send information to the American

An explanation of the listings: The descriptive paragraph that accompanies some
listings was supplied by the schools along with their questionnaires. The inclusion of
this material was an optional addition to the questionnaire. Lack of accompanying material
does not imply any qualitative opinion on the part of the American Statistical
Association. Schools that did not respond to this year's questionnaire are listed, but
certain information may appear as "Not given" or may be taken from the previous
years' questionnaires. Departments shown with an asterisk (*) are Institutional Members of
ASA.
