"The department operates a network of Sun workstations and
Xterminals. The central campus computer system is a VAX 4500 running VMS.
There is student access to Apple Macintosh microcomputers and several
faculty members use Macintoshes in their work. Standard mathematical and
statistical software such as NAG, SPSS, S S-plus, SAS and BMDP is
available, as well as special-purpose applications software in a variety of
areas."
