SiegeNWN V0.2 - 11/17/2002 By Johannes Zeppenfeld - zeppenfe@cs.wisc.edu This build of SiegeNWN is meant purely as a beta test, so if you try it out _please_ tell me how it went! -- Information -- More detailed user information to come. -- Tutorial -- To play the included demo module: 1) Unzip SiegeNWN.exe, placeables.2da and the *.snw files to the same directory. 2) Unzip *.mod to "\modules\". 3) Go to the directory containing SiegeNWN and drag a *.snw file onto the .exe 4) If this is the first time running, follow the instructions in [Installation] below 5) Launch the game and play away. Enjoy! A complete walkthrough on creating a simple tileset can be found at http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~zeppenfe/ . -- Installation -- 1) Unzip SiegeNWN.exe and placeables.2da to the same directory. All other files are optional. 2) Unzip *.mod to "\modules\". When starting SiegeNWN for the first time, you will be prompted to locate Terrain.dsres and Objects.dsres. If you have the retail version: Browse to "\Resources\" and open either of these two files If you have the demo version: Browse to your Dungeon Siege Directory and open Demo.ds If you do not wish to install Dungeon Siege, you can simply copy the required data files from the Dungeon Siege CDs. Copy Terrain.dsres from "Disk#2:\DSIEGE\RESOUR_1\TERRAI_1.DSR" and Objects.dsres from "Disk#1:\DSIEGE\RESOUR_1\OBJECT_1.DSR" to the same directory.
