As a student

As mentors, Dr. Mike Swift and Vedang Sharma unwaveringly supported my acadmic and personal growth as well as encouraged me to meet with Dr. Swift's research group, SCAIL Research.

I've also been involved in a number of student organizations, including Effective Altruism UW, the Software Development Club, Nordic Ski Team, and UW Guitar Club. I've been involved in a variety of positions - as a leader, mentor, and a member.

As a young professional

After returning from Europe the summer after graduating college, I continued searching for a positively impactful job in software engineering. One of my major career goals is to earn enough to both donate a significant portion(25-50%) of my income away and still support myself and loved ones, through a job that truly does good, rather than simply earns money or supports causes I'm not passionate about and the world doesn't need.

In January 2023 I started a Software Engineering position at Boston Scientific, developing electrocardiogram(ECG) analysis software aiding technicians and physicians in diagnosing and treating patients' cardiac arrhythmia.

I still do programming projects for fun outside of work, such as Pintura and Saboteur Rock, a role-based deception party game (think Secret Hitler meets Jackbox Games) - which is still a work in progress. The V1.0 release is anticipated for mid-December 2023, stay tuned!
