Aditya Venkataraman
I'm Aditya Venkataraman, aka AV.
I am currently pursuing my graduate study in Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin Madison, where I am advised by Prof. Gurinder Sohi. I am interested in a wide range of research topics spanning Computer Architecture and Operating Systems.
Prior to joining UW in Fall 2014, I spent two years with NVIDIA in their Bangalore Development Center. I was a System Architect for Tegra, a tour de force of an SOC. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. For more details about my professional experiences, please take a look at my LinkedIn profile.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading good literature, listening to philosophical discourses and visiting new places. I blog regularly at The Electronic Dialogue. Some of my code can be found on my GitHub profile.
News Updates
- I was awarded the Hiran Mayukh Award for showing high potential in research and academics in the first year of graduate school! :)
- I presented a Poster about my work on exploiting ordered parallelism from fine-grained task-parallel programs at the UW Architecture Affiliates 2015.
- Summer 2015: I interned with the CPU Feature Architecture Group at NVIDIA, Oregon. I spent a lot of time studying ISAs and performance optimizations for next generation Denver CPUs. Outside of work, I absolutely fell in love with Portland!
