Announcements

12/11: The review sessions for the final practice problems will be Friday, 12/14 and Saturday, 12/15 each day from 7:15pm till 9:15pm in 1221 CS&S.
12/8: The final exam will be Sunday, December 16, 7:45am-9:45am in 168 Noland. Note the early time (not my choice!) and the room. The material for the exam are the topics that were not covered by the midterm exam, namely network flow, randomness, and NP-completeness. However, some of the techniques from the first part of the course may be needed. Like the midterm exam, the final exam will be closed book and closed notes, but you can bring a one-page letter-sized cheat sheet. Times and locations for the final review sessions will be announced shortly.
10/18: The midterm will take place on Thursday, October 25, from 7:15pm till 10:15pm in 132 Noland Hall. The material is everything we covered up to and including dynamic programming. The exam is closed book and closed notes but you can bring a one-page cheat-sheet.
9/21: This coming week only, the review session from Monday will be moved to Wednesday. So, next week's review sessions will be Tuesday 9/25 and Wednesday 9/26, each day from 7:15pm till 9:15pm in CS 1221.
