UW-Madison ICPC Team Organizational Meeting

Hi there, problem solvers / fast coders / challenge takers! Welcome to our first ICPC team event of the year, the organizational meeting!

The meeting is held at CS 1221, Thursday, Sept. 6, 5pm. We will briefly introduce ICPC, our team at UW and what we plan to do for the year.

You should come to join us if you would like to solve algorithmic challenges and show off your skills at a world-level stage. Don’t worry if you cannot make it this time, we will put notes or slides used at the meeting.

Also feel free to ask us or walk in to our future gatherings.

• Team of 3
• 1 computer
• 5 hours
• ~10 problems
• Most solved wins
• Fastest solved wins
• Penalty for Wrong Answers
• Languages supported: C/C++, Java, Python

At a bigger scale…

• Regionals @ Nov. 3rd, usually at Epic.
• World Final @ '19 May in India^[1].

Note: To participate as an official team, make sure you are willing to attend WF and maintain a status as student of UWM.

About Our Team

• We advanced to WF for 17 years in a row. Very proud!

• We will be participating North Central North America Regional.

• Our last Beijing WF team: Yuxin Sun, Sichao Yang and Changtian Sun.

  • You can also participate online, but on-site attendence is very recommended.
