About Me

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research interest lies in between theoretical machine learning and computational learning theory. Currently, I am working on efficient algorithms for high dimensional robust statistics with Prof. Christos Tzamos. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics with high honors. At my time there, I worked with Prof. John Canny on MCMC methods and with Prof. David Bamman on natural language processing.

I am grateful to be supported by Kwanjeong Educational Foundation.

Update: I will be on a leave of absence for some years to do my mandatory military service for South Korea.
