Lena E. Olson
I received my masters (2011) and PhD (August 2016) from UW-Madison, advised by Professor Mark Hill. My dissertation focused on specialized hardware accelerators, especially complex, high-performance accelerators that share memory with the host system (such as GPGPUs). Some of these accelerators might be designed by third parties. In particular, I was interested in how these potentially imperfect accelerators can be safely integrated with host systems for heterogeneous computing.
Now that I have graduated, I have joined Google's Madison office. You can still reach me at lena at cs.wisc.edu, however.
