I graduated with a PhD from the Department of Computer Sciences at UW-Madison in August 2015. My dissertation is available here. I now work at Apple.
For my graduate research, I worked with Prof. Suman
Banerjee in the Wisconsin Wireless and NetworkinG Systems (WiNGS) Lab.
I received my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering in May 2009
after spending four wonderful years at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
My broad research interests are in the areas of wireless networks, software defined networking, mobile
applications and systems. My research work has focused on building tools and frameworks
for interference management in wireless networks,
managing wireless performance in home environments as well as enabling
application and network performance analytics in large mobile application deployments.
I'm grateful to Microsoft Research for their generous support through the Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship
(2012 - 2014).
My CV is available here.
I'm a photography buff with focal length interests varying from landscape to wildlife :). I have uploaded some of my favorite pictures on 500px.
