PBS, NPR, etc

Just wondering if any DHS in the U.S. ever listen
to or watch any shows on Public Television (PBS) or
Public Radio (NPR & PRI) If you haven't then I would
strongly recommend it. These stations differ remarkably
from the network and commercial media such as CNN.

For those who enjoy intelligent and in-depth analyses of
everyday news, the 'Newshour with Jim Lehrer' on PBS is
a must. Having been a faithful watcher of this show for
the past ten years (back when it was still called the
McNeil/Lehrer Newshour) I can say without hesitation
that it is simply superb and incomparable.

PBS also has a lot of educational programmes that
(I often dream) would be so fabulous to import into
VN. Maybe someday we could secure an agreement to
offer programmes such as 'Nova' and 'Bill Nye The
Science Guy' to Viet schoolchildren (as a form of
foreign aids, perhaps? :))

PBS also maintains a great website (http://www.pbs.org)
that contains a BUNCH of neat stuff. And it's updated
daily, too.

(Bonus: if you spend a little time searching, you may
find the link to a wonderful forum on the VN Memorial Wall
that is truly worth visiting, times and again :))
