Blue Bay would be such a cool place to hang out if the lake didn't stink.
Literally. It smells something like rotten eggs left out in the hot sun too
long or old, dirty socks after they've been worn for so many days in a row that
the stink starts to make holes in the heel. the lake is so polluted that no
one can go near it, let alone swim in it.

The sad state of the lake inspires fourth graders Ethan and Alexia to form a
club called the GAS Kids. The club's mission is to help the environment by
recycling and making sure everyone else does the same.

The GAS Kids quickly find themselves with their first case when Ethan's recycling bin goes missing!
