About Boy's Hockey

Madison West High School fields a Varsity Boy's Hockey team that competes in the Big Eight conference.  Open tryouts begin in early November (per WIAA rules) and the season runs from late November through early March. Home games are played at Madison Ice Arena.

Madison West has a long history in Boy's hockey, with eleven appearances in the state tournament and winning the state championship in 1982-83. Madison West last won the Big Eight conference title outright in 1994-95 with a 12-2 record and shared the title with Sun Praire in 1995-96, also with a 12-2 record.
