After "warming up" on Baby Apes, Raleigh left with a friend to go bouldering, and Kevin and I hiked into Wonderland to climb Mental Physics, 5.7+. It was a beautiful Saturday, and although there were crowds at the climb, the terrain was beautiful enough on it's own to make the long hike worthwhile.

On the way in, we passed the Astrodomes. This is South Astrodome, the location of the classic climb, Solid Gold.

Since there were crowds at Mental Physics on Saturday, we climbed on another party's toprope. The climb was so good, we decided to return to lead it ourselves. Monday was a bit dreary, but it stayed dry long enough for us both to lead it. After Kevin climbed, he unloaded the rack onto this rock and it looked so nice... Climbers are gear heads.
