Despite Mel Gibson’s best efforts to have me believe otherwise,
Phil Altman is a good guy who wouldn’t hurt anyone. That’s not to
say he hasn’t hurt anyone, but it’s all indirect. When he skies
someone and shames them in front of family and friends, he’s not
being malicious. When he keys people’s H2s and Escalades, it’s
not because he hates them. When he isolates his defender and
takes him deep, it’s not an attempt to humiliate him. He just
pities them. Every gentile he’s ever d’ed, every Philistine he’s
ever scored on, every heretic he’s ever shut down, Phil has had
sympathy for. It’s just so hard being dominant and humble, so
hard being a pacifist who competes so fiercely, so hard being Phil
Altman. We love Jew, Phil.
