This is a series of travel journals written by my friend Lucy Friedland, not by me! I am simply putting it on the web because one, she is a much better writer than I am. The journals are provided in their original context with minor change in format to fit HTML requirements. And two, I really enjoy reading her work. It gives me a different perspective on many things, including China. Hopefully you will feel the same. One word of caution though, they are rather long. So, take you time and enjoy the journal.
