SUMMER PROJECT Jun ‘03
· Development of Win2Lin, an ext2 file system access system from Win32 systems under Dr S.R.Sathe. In this, reading writing of files was made possible onto ext2 from FAT32 so that access and transfer of files (to and fro) in ext2 partition of Linux platform from Windows platform could take place.
SELECTED PROJECTS
· B.E project: Implemented Trigger Functionality in My SQL: Implemented a layer above the MySQL architecture to handle all trigger related functionalities and keep MySQL server invisible to any trigger related operations. This consists of a parser and an application sub layer. The trigger body is converted into a stored procedure, which is stored in MySQL server itself. The enabling/disabling of triggers is simply taken care by having an extra field in the data dictionary. The special cases of trigger calls within a stored procedure, trigger failure, multiple triggers and mutating triggers were also taken care of. [2004]
· Byte Code Interpreter for Java: Written Java Byte Code interpreter for reading class files. Read class files generated by java compiler and created corresponding byte code output. [2003]
· Design and Implementation of a web based Content Management System (Fine 2.0): A PHP-MySQL based Content Managed System. Successfully hosted sites using it.vnitalumni.org. http://www.vnitalumni.org is a site successfully running on it with extensive features, currently has 1000 members registered. I am still maintaining this website. [2002-date]
· Implementation of C Compiler: Designed and implemented all stages of compilation: Syntactic Analysis, Semantic Analysis, intermediate code generation and object code generation. Supporting all data types and structures supported by actual C Compiler [2003]
