HOME Groomsmen Bride Procession Reception
Rehearsal Dinner Bridesmaids Groom Finally Married Contact Us

At the end of the day, we joined everyone at the reception. We'd heard rumors that it's normal not to enjoy your reception, but we had a ball. A few of the guests might have had some fun too.

Smiling David Elizabeth's Mom
This is a good shot of David, the groom's dad, at the reception. He's a little camera shy, so it's nice that someone got a picture of him looking as cute as he did most of the day. Ruth, the bride's mom, spent a lot of the night working the crowd, but like all of us, she wishes she'd had more time to spend talking to everyone.
Brandon giving a speech Look at all that icing
Brandon spoke for just a few minutes about us, particularly how Kent actually seemed animated when he announced his engagement to Elizabeth. For those of you who know him, you'll know what a big deal that was. His toast was perfect in content, tone and length. The bride worried more about having a good cake than she did about anything else to do with the wedding. This one turned out to taste good and be pretty too. Too bad she only got to eat a little bite of it.
Elizabeth and her girl The Lindsey side of the family
Laura Harting, in addition to being one of the bride's cutest cousins, proved to be a great dancing partner. Elizabeth still grins every time she sees this picture. Tom and Nancy, also cousins of the bride, came from North and South Carolina respectively. They were among the people we wanted to talk to more. At least the bride's dad spent a little time with them.
Rhythm or no, they
all still danced We were relieved when the individual dances were over, and other people took the floor. Some of them even look like they know what they're doing.
