Its halftime here in Minnesota, Im posting now, while the Vikings are winning, for fear that they might lose it in the 2nd half. Anyways, it was a fun weekend. Heres a priceless picture, taken by my roomate Ben, of my other roomate Evan, Sonar and I recovering from the festivities. A reminder: Please support your local sushi bar. posted at 10:14 PM |

One of the reasons why I'm such a big fan of the web is because I dont like to spend money. I figure theres pretty much everything one could ever want on the internet and usually without cost as long you take the time to look. One of the nicest bargains on the web is the FREE Barnes and Noble University Online Courses. There are atleast 100 courses from various displines e.g. Intro to Wine to How to Think Like Leonardo DeVinci . Right now Im taking a Perl refresher course. Check them out. Did i mention that they were FREE? Oh, one thing, you dont have to buy the books (that they suggest) to benefit from the courses. |

Here's an early morning photo. It's from Hiawatha Ave. Much of Hiawatha Ave is industrial, yet most of Minneapolis is not. Areas that seem sort of out place make good photo locals. posted at 1:42 AM |

Doh! OK I made mistake on last night's post, the wes anderson blog is not wes anderson its just about wes anderson. I had hoped that I had stumbled onto something substantial. Sorry. But my question still stands does anyone know any blogs that famous people publish? |
|
So I just finished watching Bottle Rocket, a movie by Wes Anderson, who also made Rushmore, and the upcoming The Royal Tenenbaums , which has an amazing website!!. Did you know that Wes Anderson has his own weblog? I wonder what other famous people have weblogs, does anyone know of any others? That reminds me, I guess Wil Wheaton from Star Trek has his own weblog too. Its interesting how some celebrities put their diaries online and allow people to comment on them. Doesnt seem like the Hollywood thing to do. Oh BTW Bottle Rocket was hilarious, watch it atleast 1 1/4 times. rushmore was also great. high hopes for the The Royal Ts. |

Welcome to JRDN KDHL Online, this is my second attempt at a personal website. In my opinion, its a lot nicer then my first site. Its nice to keep the old site around for perspective. On this site you will find my resume, some of my photography, as well as information on my projects and interests. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for stopping by. This is the first official entry in my weblog. The web log (powered by blogger)will be used to record my daily thoughts, observations and impressions. Sites like MetaFilter, Romenesko's Obscure Store and Reading Room, and Kottke.org inspired me to start my own weblog. Aside from commentary, each entry will contain one or more links which I think you should visit. Oftentimes I will also have a picture of the day. After each entry there is a link to a permenent copy of the entry, just click on the little jk image -> |
